Acupuncture:
I received my Diploma in Acupuncture from Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TSTCM) and registered with CTCMPAO as acupuncturist (R. Ac.), followed by joining different teams of acupuncturists, physiotherapists, naturopaths, massage therapists, and chiropractors in multidisciplinary clinics in GTA.
Although my main interest in practicing is pain management and trauma, but I have great experience in treating different conditions related to "Head, Eyes, Nose, Ears", "Neuropsychological", Cardiovascular",
"Respiratory", Musculoskeletal", "Gastrointestinal", Genitourinary", Skin & Hair", and "Gynecological"
diseases/disorders/disabilities.
My practice is tailored and focused on patients' personal needs by using acupuncture (different needling techniques), acupoints stimulation, moxibustion, Tui Na, cupping, bloodletting, and Gua Sha, leading to an energy flow (Qi) through the body, thereby reducing pain and improving health. However, in evaluating the acupuncture treatment outcomes, I rely on patients' input and subjective experience, my intake and examination, laboratory tests and medical device measurements.

My western medicine background and TCM knowledge enables me to achieve this goal by interactional process of co-constructing understanding of the patient's body conditions through better communication skills, and reaching scientifically sound clinical outcomes in compliance with treatment plan and high patient satisfaction, a root solution that makes patient's body stronger and healthier.
In Biomedical Science:
I served as a faculty member (Professor) for more than 20 years, having field, laboratory, clinic, R&D, teaching & training and advisory experience in prevention and control of infectious diseases.
I worked in public health departments, Institutes, pharmaceutical companies, universities, national CDC, World Health Organization (WHO/EMRO), and startup companies, while actively supervising/advising more than 50 PhD and M.Sc. students, publishing 120 ISI & PubMed papers and 4 books, registering 8 national, and 2 US patents. I am proud of spending my whole career (more than 20 years) in serving to many peoples in different countries, no matter what their culture, race, and health conditions.
I believe "The health sector is a sacred profession, and a health practitioner should devote their life to community health by being passionate, up-to-date, professional, caring for every single life, sharing their knowledge for training, and promoting health for all!".
